Primrose Montessori Preschool, Inc. is a privately owned and operated school dedicated to providing quality early childhood education and individualized care for children ages 2½ to 6. Our mission is to nurture each child’s natural curiosity, encourage independence, and build the confidence and skills needed for a lifetime of learning.
Our Montessori classrooms offer a warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared environment where children learn through exploration, hands-on activities, and meaningful experiences. With guidance from our Montessori-trained teachers, children are encouraged to discover their interests, develop concentration, practice responsibility, and learn at their own pace.
Our curriculum includes practical life, sensorial learning, mathematics, language, art, music, science, history, and geography. Through these diverse learning opportunities, children develop important academic, social, emotional, and practical life skills.
By bringing children of different ages together in a supportive, non-competitive community, we encourage cooperation, friendship, respect, and a sense of belonging. Our teachers provide individualized direction and positive encouragement, helping every child reach their full potential.

Primrose is a magical place that fosters the personal and educational growth of Missoula’s young minds. The simple and loving environment at Primrose creates a safe space for kids to explore and engage with peers in a fun, stimulating and warm environment. My two daughters both attended Primrose and adored their time there. THey both routinely request going back and always attend summer sessions (even when they aged out) as it was such a special and amazing place. Ms Kerry and Ms Cindy bring years of expertise in educating preschool aged children. They are calm, pateint, tender, and devoted to helping each kid prepare for the next chapters of their schooling. They take the time to create unique bonds with each child and help to nuture positive peer relationships. Primrose was so much more than a preschool – we left with lifelong friends and peers who we continue to connect with long after the preschool years are done. I cannot say enough about how incredibly lucky we felt to have attended Primrose with not one but two of our kiddos!
